Closing Keynote Speaker: Dr. Nasiah Cirincione-Ulezi

We are very excited to have Dr. Nasiah Cirincione-Ulezi as our closing keynote speaker.

Dr. Ulezi’s work in behavior analysis has brought many positive changes to our field. Her most recent work in reflective practices is the perfect way to close our first conference, and we cannot wait to have her join us in Jamaica so that we can learn, grow, and reflect together.

Mentorship Programs

In 2025, our President Gabi Torres ran a successful mentorship program where eight (8) first time ABA-Conference presenters were able to present at an ABA conference. Gabi is now working with Dr. Danica Moise to launch the CABA Research Lab. They are working on additional mentorship programs that include getting more people from the Caribbean ready to present at conferences, and supporting practitioner-led research efforts in the Caribbean. These programs will be included at our conference through our Ignite Presentations and Poster Session. More details about the program, including an application to participate coming soon!

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Why don’t you have a call for papers?
The answer to this question is two-fold. First, as a brand new conference, our team does not have the capacity this year to properly process a call for papers. When we do it, we want to do it well. Second, we have a specific theme we are focusing on this year which is elevating voices across the Caribbean and highlighting places where collaborations across fields has been successful. With that in mind, we invited our speakers for specific reasons. We are very excited about the program and we hope you will be too!
  2. Do you offer additional discounts?
At this time our CABA members and Jamaican locals have discounts for their registration. We are not offering any additional discounts, unless we are able to get additional funding. By offering the rates we are offering and including meals, we are hoping that we have made it an affordable event for most of you.
  3. Will there be a virtual option?
Maybe. We will likely be recording the conference so that our attendees can review the content after, and are looking into virtual options as well. For now though our primary focus is on the in-person conference.
  4. What CEUs will you offer?
We are currently confirmed to be offering IBAO and BACB CEUs across Ethics, Cultural Awareness, Supervision, and ABA Topics/Learning and are looking at additional certification and licenses that require professional development and continuing education hours. If you need something specific, please email us, info@caribbeanba.org.
